He'll have to wait three years after he retires but Niklas Lidstrom is a sure bet to be a first-ballot HOFer. Offered is the seven-time Norris winner's 2001-02 Red Wings game-worn alternate captain's jersey. The great Swedish defenseman won the Conn Smythe Trophy that spring as he claimed his third of four Stanley Cups with Detroit. This road gamer is from the Red Wings' first season set of red jerseys, as per the "2" screened in white in the back of the neck and the team patch screened inside the rear tail. There is a size 52 flag tag in the neck and collar seams in the front and back have both been team repaired/reinforced. Game wear shows in team repairs on the sleeves and marks, detailed online. Comes with a Red Wings LOA. The left sleeve has three team repairs and black marks. There are two more sewing fixes on the right sleeve, which displays a few marks, and a black mark on the left front tail.
