Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
After winning six Vezina trophies and two Harts in Buffalo, Dominik Hasek arrived in Motown for the 2001-02 season and racked up a career-high 41 wins with the Wings, wearing this red air-knit Detroit road jersey along the way. Then came the playoffs with The Dominator backstopping Detroit to the Stanley Cup title and getting to drink from Lord Stanley's bowl at age 37. Size 58 goalie style jersey has screening in the inner rear hem that reads "2001-2002 Authentic Game Jersey 1st Set", while a number "2" is screened in the neck, on the reverse side of the Koho patch. Lighter game use with however a big 8" black stick mark across the front and five black stick/puck marks on the left sleeve, including one in both the "3" and the "9". Jersey donned by a future Hall-of-Famer will come with a certificate of authenticity from Hockeytown Authentics.
