Pesky centre Maxim Lapierre wore this Canadiens retro gamer for a pair of games during the Habs' 100th season in 2008-09. Habs tie-neck game-worn jersey in the style of the 1915-16 team displays Montreal's 1909-2009 "100" patch on the right shoulder and a Canadiens hologram on the bottom of the "0" on the back. Size-56 flag tag sits in the neck and "2" is written in black marker in the back of the neck. The registry number on the Canadiens game-worn patch sewn inside the rear tail matches the one on the LOA on Habs letterhead signed by equipment manager Pierre Gervais. LOA states that Max wore this jersey for two games late in the 2008-09 season. Max scored both of Montreal’s goals in a 5-2 loss to Toronto on March 21, 2009 (the Canadiens played the Maple Leafs and not Ottawa, as stated on the LOA). Lapierre had an assist when he wore this gamer again on March 31 against Chicago.
Best of light game wear is a faint black mark on the lower white band on the front of the left sleeve.
