A total of 23 dazzling diamonds shine out from the maple leaf crest surrounding the familiar skating hockey player of the Hockey Canada logo displayed on the tableau of this sensational 1997 world champions 10K gold and diamond ring. This beautiful bauble by Intergold was presented to Wayne Cashman, who was an associate coach on Andy Murray's staff in Finland. Canada beat out Sweden in a best-of-three final to claim its second gold in four years. This amazing piece comes with its gorgeous presentation box featuring Wayne's name engraved on a "1997 World Championship" plaque on the top of the lid. "1997" is stamped into the upper corners of the ring's tableau with "World Champions" spelled out in raised gold along the bottom. "Cashman" is displayed in relief on the left shank with "A.C." at the bottom for assistant coach and Hockey Canada's EDGE "Emotion, Discipline, Gratitude, Execution" logo in enamel in the center. The right shank displays "Finland" stamped into a banner along with '97 and the tournament logo in relief. The inside of the size 12 band is stamped "10K" and "IGO" for Intergold. Cash obviously wore this ring with lots of pride as it displays very light surface marks and scratches. A beauty to behold, this world championship ring comes with Wayne Cashman's signed LOA.
