Fascinating collection of Russian trophy cups includes five with painted sports scenes and a silver-colored perpetual chess trophy. Featured is a trophy with an image of a soccer player on the front of the cup and engraved in Russian "best captain soccer team company" with the recipients for 1965 and 1967. The chess tournament championship trophy has the names of its winners from 1969 to 1976 engraved on it. Four of these circa 1960s trophies stand approximately 9 1/2" tall, including scenes of ski jumping, track and high jump, with a swimmer depicted on a slightly shorter painted cup. Rounding out the lot is a 1996 Atlanta Olympics three-pin set.
