Nothing but the best in this trio of 1950s puzzles featuring great Detroit Red Wings and Montreal Canadiens teams. Lot includes three vintage 14" x 19" puzzles, each quite nice and complete with all original pieces as well as their boxes. The 1954 Stanley Cup champion Red Wings are featured in one of two color puzzles. The 1953 Cup champion Canadiens appear in black and white on another puzzle over a background of Stanley Cups. The other color puzzle is a team photo of the Cup finalist 1953-54 Habs. Great memories of three great teams from the Golden Age of the Original Six. All three puzzles look very clean, especially when you take into account that they have been around for nearly 60 years. The three boxes are complete and in relatively nice shape, considering their age. The 1954 Red Wings box is pretty clean with a bit of writing on the cover and a tear on one edge of the lid. The 1953 Canadiens box has no tears and “complet” is written and underlined on the cover. The 1954 Canadiens box is torn along the right side of the lid with another tear in the bottom left corner. Minimal writing with a little more soiling than the two other boxes but pretty good colors all the same.
