From the last pre-expansion Stanley Cup finals and last Cup finals duel between the Maple Leafs and Canadiens comes this desirable program from Game 3 of the 1967 showdown, played Tuesday, April 25th at Maple Leaf Gardens. The Leafs took a 2-games-to-1 lead when Bob Pulford scored at 8:26 of the second overtime period. The two teams had traded goals in both the first, (Beliveau and Stemkowsi), and second (Pappin and Ferguson) periods, before a scoreless third. Johnny Bower kicked out 60 shots in the game, 20 of them in 28 minutes of overtime. VG-ish program pictures Terry Sawchuk on the cover and features 80 pages of interesting content, with the centerfold lineup spread having become detached, the bottom of the spine split an inch and light cover creases to note. A definite must for longtime Leafs faithful and big-time program enthusiasts.
