Offered here is John Ferguson's first American Hockey League goal puck trophy among this collection of seven items from his days with the Cleveland Barons in the early-1960s. Rubber crested Art Ross official AHL goal puck has a screw inserted in the bottom where it is affixed to stand atop a wood base. A gold-colored plaque has "First A.H.L. Goal, John Ferguson, Cleveland vs. Hershey, Oct. 19, 1960" engraved on it. Also included is another Art Ross AHL official game puck for Ferguson's 20th goal of the 1961-62 season. Five 8" x 10" photos complete this great Ferguson/ AHL lot, including Barons team photos for each of his three seasons with Cleveland before he joined the Montreal Canadiens in 1963-64. An LOA from the Ferguson family accompanies this collection.
