Historical Hockey Memorabilia Spring 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/12/2012
Deceased hockey legend Babe Siebert's nice clean autograph is displayed on a vintage mini hockey stick. Siebert, inducted into the HOF posthumously in 1964, won the Stanley Cup with the Maroons in 1926 and the Rangers in 1933. He also starred with the Bruins and Canadiens before drowning in the summer of 1939 shortly after he was named the Habs' coach. His black fountain pen signature sits to the right of the blue band at the bottom of the shaft of this one-piece souvenir stick. Another mini stick included has "Les Canadiens 1936-37" handwritten on the shaft and both have sporting goods store "Jos. Choquette" stamped on each side of the blade.
