A gorgeous sprawling and bold blue ballpoint Jacques Plante autograph here measures some four inches in length and was penned to the back of a sports banquet ticket-like affair. One would surmise that the goaltending great was the invited quest speaker when the Noranda, Quebec "Citadelles" were paid tribute on May 29, 1965. The 4-1/4" by 5-1/2" piece is joined by a beauty crease-free 1950s' Canadiens team-issued postcard once owned by Plante. He used these types of postcards to keep track of bills, with the name of a plumbing company typed on the back, and a $9.00 bill from January of 1960 listed below in his tiny handwriting. Two terrific items handled and written on by the legendary Jacques Plante! An LOA from Classic Auctions will be included.
