Czech defenseman Josef Horesovsky was one of the top blueliners in the international game during his era. Voted by the IIHF Directorate as the Best Defenseman in 1968, Josef represented Czechoslovakia at the World Championships from 1968 through 1973 and again during the Olympics in 1968 and 1972. This Czech National Team jersey, worn circa the early '70s is a crafted in white cotton with knit drop-shadow numerals (#3). The tie-neck style retains an original lace and a smaller shimmering intricate shield crest featuring an upright lion rests just below on the chest. Game wear is extremely light on the example and a peek inside the neck spots the Odevni Sluzba manufacturer tag. Obtained directly from the personal collection of Josef Horesovsky.
