Four Spengler Cup medals from the 1960s and '70s are featured in this lot of medals presented to Czechoslovakian forward Josef Augusta. Featured are two gold medals Augusta won with his club team Dukla Jihlava in 1965 and 1968 in the Swiss tournament hosted annually by HC Davos, both with their white leather straps. Also included are Augusta's 1970 silver medal, with a grey leather strap, and the bronze he won in 1979 with its brown leather strap. The image of a goalie is displayed on the face of the medals which have "Huguenin" in tiny raised letters at the 7 o'clock position. Augusta's 1976 Olympic silver medal pin is the best of the rest of this lot of 15, which includes mementos from coaching the Czech Republic national team. The four Spengler Cup medals are approximately 1 3/8” in diameter. Faces of all four Spengler medals are nice and clean. The reverses have a bit of cleanable adhesive residue.
