Incredible international hockey jersey is Sergei Starikov's 1986 USSR "CCCP" gamer from when the Soviets won their 20th IIHF gold on home ice. The Russians won all 10 games at the world championships in Moscow, outscoring their opponents 32-9 overall! Red mesh affair by Adidas has an oval Hammer and Sickle patch sewn on the left breast clearly seen in tournament videos. CCCP on the front and the numbers on the sleeves and back are heat-pressed in a felt-like material. Surname letters are sewn onto the red mesh nameplate. Adidas flag tag in the neck indicates a US size XL. Game wear includes a 5-inch diagonal slash mark on the front of the jersey, a dried bloodstain, red paint transfer and black marks on the left sleeve, and more black marks on the right. Agfa sponsor patches remain sewn on the sleeves which feature the manufacturer’s distinctive three stripes in a red and white insert sewn-onto the contrast band on the sleeves.
