This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/12/2012
High quality sterling silver ring commemorates Canada's 2002 Olympic hockey gold medal and was produced in limited quantities by the Intergold company. A garnet stone is encrusted with the Team Canada logo and is surrounded by "Team Canada - Olympic Gold Medalists". One shank names Canada and its USA opponent in the gold medal game in Salt Lake City, crossed hockey sticks, a maple leaf and "2002", while the other has the years of Canada's Olympic triumphs inscribed on maple leaves below the words "Canadian Pride." Numbered "87/2002" on the interior of the band and also on an engraved brass plate within its customized oak ring box, the handsome ring is a size 10 and remains in like-new condition. Bravo Canada!
