Nice pair of antique one-piece hockey sticks from the early part of the 20th century feature paper labels. These circa 1910s/1920s sticks include one by Spalding and another by Winchester. The Spalding stick, which had its black tape job removed from the solid, crack-free blade, retains most of its paper label on all four sides of the shaft including one side with the slogan "Made to Stand the Strain of Canada's Greatest Game". The Winchester stick has its black tape job on the blade and the initial "R.K." etched low on the shaft. It also retains the majority of its four-sided paper label, which is more worn and darker.
