Enforcer Dave Brown wore this magnificent Philadelphia Flyers gamer during the 1986-87 season. Brown racked up 274 penalty minutes during the regular season, just 3 minutes off the career high he established the previous season. He added 59 penalty minutes in 26 playoff games as the Flyers pushed the Oilers to 7 games before losing the Stanley Cup finals. White-and-orange mesh CCM game worn jersey features a modified fight strap and a 5-inch team repair that begins at the front seam of the v-neck and extends diagonally to the top of the black-white-and-orange twill Flyers crest sewn on the front. Size "54" is written in blue ballpoint on the CCM fly tag in the neck. Stitching on the black piping on the left sleeve has let go and another team repair on the orange mesh below the numbers on the right sleeve offer further evidence of nice game use. With LOA. The original fight strap was cut off and repositioned inside the jersey, stitched onto the middle of the "1" in the orange-and-black twill #17 sewn on the back, with thread marks clearly visible on the outside.
