Wondrous white mesh Colorado Rockies home jersey worn by former Bruins scrapper Bobby Schmautz for a 20-game stint in 1979-80. Bobby recoded 271 career goals while adding 988 PIM's. Size 48 Champion tag is sewn in the neck of this white mesh affair with knit/mesh red-yellow-and-blue bands around the waist and sleeves. Garter-style fight strap remains intact. Logos and numbers are screened on and surname letters are heat-pressed blue vinyl on a white nameplate sewn on the back. Game use includes scattered stick marks and scrapes with some blue paint transfer on the front with more red and paint transfer at the cuffs. The well-laundered shirt shows evidence of dozens of faded stick marks and scuffs and we sport a few smaller unrepaired holes. As the team wore shirts made by Rawlings when Bobby was on the roster, we believe this jersey was recycled from a set first used in 1977-78.
