Historical Hockey Memorabilia Spring 2012

Green grip tape jobs on the handle and knob of Andy Moog’s game-used stick readily identify it from the mid-1990s with the Dallas Stars. A three-time Stanley Cup champion with Edmonton, Andy helped guide Boston to two appearances in the final before moving on to Dallas, where he used this Christian gamer with the “Curtis Curve” handle. Moog has signed in black marker on the heel of the blade, which retains his black tape job, and “Moog” is stamped on the shaft. A solid puck mark on the lower part of the paddle highlights the crack on the top edge of this otherwise solid display piece with red goalpost paint transfer.
