Historical Hockey Memorabilia Spring 2012

The Maple Leafs’ loss was the Flyers’ gain when Darryl Sittler took his considerable skills to Philly. Darryl contributed 43 goals and 83 points in his first full season with the Flyers in 1982-83. The “25 Mars 1983” factory date stamp shows that this Sher-Wood PMP 5030 gamer with “D. Sittler 27” stamped on the shaft and his number “27” also written in black marker is from that season, when he added one goal in three playoff games. Darryl’s original black tape jobs remain on the knob and blade, which has worn through the bottom edge of this solid, crack-free gamer. Nice addition to a HOF stick collection.
