Hall of Fame goalie Gerry Cheevers’ vintage dedicated autograph sits high on the shaft of his 1972-73 Cleveland Crusaders game-used stick. Dating from the WHA’s inaugural season, this Northland gamer has “Cheevers” stamped on the shaft and retains Cheesy’s tape jobs on the knob and blade. Black marker Cheevers signature with dedication sits below “Larson Industries, Inc.” stamp and a “March 13th 73, Oilers 4 Cleveland 2” is written in blue marker on a strand of white tape lower down the shaft. Really nice game use includes red paint transfer high on the paddle and a slight crack/puck hit mark just above the taped blade.
