From Maurice Richard, Gordie Howe and Bobby Hull right up to the latest member, Jarome Iginla, every player who scored 500 NHL goals is represented. Wayne Gretzky? Check. Mario Lemieux? Mais oui. Brett Hull? Boom! A veritable evolution of the hockey stick is on display here right back to the old school wood used by the Rocket, Mr. Hockey and the Golden Jet as well as Jean Beliveau, Frank Mahovlich, Phil Esposito, Johnny Bucyk, and Stan Mikita. Styles and stick composition change as you move on through the 1980s with Dionne, Lafleur, Bossy, Perreault, and McDonald, 1990s with Trottier, Gartner, Goulet, Kurri, Ciccarelli, Messier, Yzerman, Hawerchuk, Mullen, Andreychuk, and Robitaille, and 2000s with Verbeek, Francis, Shanahan, Sakic, Nieuwendyk, Jagr, Turgeon, Sundin, Selanne, Bondra, Recchi, Modano, Roenick, and Tkachuk, right up to Iggy, who beat Minnesota's Niklas Backstrom to reach 500 on January 7, 2012. Maurice Richard 1950s CCM Professional game-used stick with recent blue marker autograph, original tape jobs with some tape removed from knob, partial tape loss from wear on the bottom of blade near toe, light aging cracks at toe.
Jean Beliveau 1950s CCM Professional game-used stick with recent marker signature, original tape jobs on the knob and blade, tiny age crack on toe of blade.
Frank Mahovlich 1960s Northland Custom Pro game-used stick stamped "Big M" and "27" on the shaft with original tape jobs on the knob and blade.
Johnny Bucyk Sher-Wood game-used stick with black marker signature and original tape jobs on the knob and blade.
Stan Mikita 1970s Northland game-used stick with original tape jobs on the knob and blade.
Bobby Hull game-used stick early 1970s WHA Winnipeg Jets black marker autograph with Northland stick pattern number 1178 stamped on back of shaft, custom-shaved handle and original tape jobs on the knob and blade.
Phil Esposito 1970s Northland game-used stick with pattern number 0955 stamped low on the shaft with original tape jobs on the knob and blade.
Gordie Howe Northland game-used stick with pale but very legible vintage autograph high on shaft, pattern number 4957 stamped on shaft, missing a row of white tape on the blade with exhibits wear to the tape job, original black tape job on knob.
Marcel Dionne CCM Custom Pro game-used stick with original tape jobs on the knob and blade, Dionne is stamped on the shaft and number "12" is written in red marker, some yellow and pinkish paint on blade tape.
Gilbert Perreault Canadien game-used stick with Nov. 21, 1979 date stamp andoriginal tape jobs on the knob and blade, small chip to the tip of the blade
Lanny McDonald Koho Custom Pro game-used stick with vintage signature (possible dedication removal) original tape knob, 8-to-10 inch crack in shaft, though stick is still solid.
Jari Kurri Koho game-used stick with original tape job on knob, tape removed from blade, signed and dated 1990 with partially erased dedication.
Wayne Gretzky Easton aluminum game-used stick with custom Jack the Gripper knob, with "RS 95 OTT 384" coding in black marker on top of wood knob, "Gretzky" stamped on Easton blade insert, nice black marker autograph, A few strands of black tape missing towards the toe of the tape job on the blade which exhibits nice game wear, including a gouge to the tape near the heel.
Mario Lemieux Koho Revolution game-used stick with original tape jobs on the knob and blade, "Lemieux" stamped on the shaft, some paint chipping along all sides of the shaft, displays nice game wear.
Michel Goulet Titan TPM 2020 game-used stick with January 8, 1992 date stamp and original tape jobs on the knob and blade, white tape job on blade displays some staining, signed in black marker, slight 6-inch crack in shaft but stick is still very solid.
Brett Hull Easton aluminum game-used stick with original white tape job on knob, tape removed from Christian blade insert with "Hull" and "Blues" stamped on it, Big black marker signature on now-bare blade.
Guy Lafleur Sher-Wood 5030 game-used stick with original tape jobs on the knob and blade with some tape removed from the knob, nice game wear with very slight crack on the upper shaft on this otherwise solid gamer.
Mark Messier Sher-Wood PMP 7000 game-used stick with original tape jobs on the knob and blade, "Messier 11" stamped on the shaft.
Bryan Trottier Koho 221 game-used stick with original tape job on knob and vintage job from high on the lower shaft to the tip of the blade, which is not a Trottier tape job that we have previously seen.
Mike Bossy Titan TPM game-used stick signed on the shaft with original tape jobs on the knob and blade, which displays good wear along the bottom edge, "Bossy" stamped on shaft with "22" written in blue marker.
Wood game-used sticks with original tape jobs on the knob and blade includes those of Hawerchuk, Sakic, Nieuwendyk, Turgeon, Tkachuk, Selanne, Sundin, Gartner (with slight crack on back of lower shaft that has been glue repaired), Andreychuk, Mullen, Verbeek, Recchi (with some damage to the tape on the blade), Francis (signed on the heel of the blade), Bondra (signed on blade, slight crack in the middle of the shaft but still very solid), Ciccarelli (signed on blade).
Aluminum and composite game-used sticks with original tape jobs include those of Roenick (with big signature on blade that had its tape job removed and a chipped upper edge), Modano (tape removed from blade which has a small crack/chip on upper edge and big signature), Yzerman, Shanahan (some wear to the bottom edge of the blade tape), Iginla, Jagr (black marker signature on yellow and white graphics and part of black shaft), Luc Robitaille (light wear to bottom edge of blade tape job).
