Historical Hockey Memorabilia Spring 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/12/2012
Early 1980s AHL Fredericton Express jersey was worn by defenseman Mike Perovich. Distictive minor league gamer from the 1981-82 season bears the Express team crest sewn on the front in white and red twill with blue and red embroidered stitching. Remnants of the parent Quebec Nordiques logo sit on the right shoulder, a heat-pressed vinyl patch that exhibits significant peeling as do the white vinyl numbers on the back and sleeves. Thicker surname letters have survived intact on a twill nameplate with ragged stitching. Maska flag tag remains in the back of the neck of this gamer with a double cloth fight strap which displays plenty of wear, including a big black mark on the team crest and an unrepaired slash cut on the right front. Red and blue paint transfer appear on the tail which features a Maska logo embroidered in white thread.
