After appearing in 40 games over parts of four seasons during his first stint with the Montreal Canadiens in the mid-1960s, Leon Rochefort returned to the Habs in 1970-71. The veteran right winger returned just in time to take part in the team’s storybook run to an unexpected Stanley Cup win behind rookie goalie Ken Dryden, newcomer Frank Mahovlich and legendary captain Jean Beliveau. Rochefort wore this fantastic Canadiens red jersey for an Oldtimers’ game in the mid-1980s. Maska and born “84-10” fly tags are sewn into the neck. The “CH” crest is entirely red, white and blue tackle twill, as are the white and blue numbers on the back and both sleeves, and the individual white letters that spell out Rochefort’s surname, sewn onto a red nameplate. This original jersey comes along with a letter of authenticity from the Montreal Canadiens signed by Rejean Houle.
