This white No. 44 Canadiens Starter jersey shows evidence of a nameplate removal and was probably originally worn by Jonas Hoglund, though possibly by Stephane Richer during his second stint with Montreal in the late-1990s. This home gamer was recycled by the Habs for the 1999 preseason, with the surname “M-A. Thinel” spelled out in individual blue tackle twill letters on a white nameplate. The blue Starter logo is embroidered onto the right tail, along with a black and orange NHL crest. A size 56-R tag is sewn inside the left tail and the fight strap remains intact. A Starter tag is sewn into the neck. Nice use here, with plenty of stick marks and a small blood stain on the left tail.
