Ed Belfour, unable to play due to injury in the 2003 NHL All-Star Game held in Sunrise, Florida, opened up a spot for Ottawa Senators netminder Patrick Lalime. Lalime jumped at the opportunity and faced pucks during the third period of the match, while making his NHL All-Star debut. The white size-62 goalie cut air-knit tie-neck style jersey by CCM features Ottawa Senators and Canadian flag patches on the shoulders, the 2003 All-Star patch at the chest with "Lalime" sewn onto a nameplate above where Patrick signed between the numbers in black Sharpie. No visible signs of game use but the NHL Game Worn Jersey Program inventory tag can be found sewn into the rear inner hem. This billowing Eastern Conference shirt was worn during the second period of the game while Lalime was on the bench, according to MeiGray's population report.
