In 2002-2003, his first year as a starting goaltender, Marty Turco's goals-against average of 1.72 set a modern NHL record and led to his selection to represent the Dallas Stars at the 2003 NHL All-Star Game held in Sunrise, Florida. Turco's blue size-60 Goalie Style air-knit tie-neck jersey by CCM displays the Stars and Canadian flag patches on the shoulders, the 2003 All-Star patch on the chest with "Turco" sewn onto a nameplate above where the goalie has autographed the "5" in black marker. No signs of game use, as would be expected, but the MeiGray/NHL Game Worn Jersey Program inventory tag can be found sewn into the rear inner hem. Turco, who saw his ice time in the third, wore this Western Conference shirt throughout the 2nd period of the game as back-up to Thibault, according to MeiGray's population report.
