Martin Brodeur will look back on the 2006-07 National Hockey League season as one of his best. He appeared in 78 games that year and won 48 of them, breaking a long-time NHL record held by Bernie Parent for single-season wins by a goaltender. With 12 shutouts, his career best, and a low 2.18 goals against average, Brodeur got the nod to the second All-Star Team and took home another Vezina award at the close of the season, his fourth in five years. Offered is this white air-knit New Jersey Devils uniform worn by Martin Brodeur in his record-breaking year. Collar tagging is by RBK/CCM with noted Goalie Style and a smaller size-60 fly tag nearby. The team's 25th Anniversary patch is sewn onto the right breast and the inventory label from the MeiGray/NHL Game-Worn Jersey Program is sewn inside the rear hem. Loads of stick and puck marks give witness to the game use and we count at least 50 black marks on the front crest and lower. A white-stitch team repair turns up just an inch below the crest and an additional repair can be found on the left arm. A third team repair, up on the right shoulder, is accompanied by a spot of red post paint transfer and more red marks can be found among the darker stick marks lower down on each arm. The spectacular White Set 2 jersey (as per LOA) comes with a printed 8x10" photo showing and 5 digital photos detailing matches. Photo-matched to: the team repair and small orange mark at the right of the nameplate, the semi-circular mark near the left shoulder and a faded black mark just above the red stripe on the lower front of the jersey. More matches include a faded black mark near at the right of the team repair and the mark just above it a 2 o'clock just below the front team crest and the faded black mark just below the Devil's tail on the front crest. Comes complete with the above-mentioned photo evidence and a New Jersey Devils letter of authenticity signed by Lou Lamoriello with reference to MeiGray's D04400 inventory number.
