Resplendent red Carolina Hurricanes jersey, worn during the team's inaugural season, belonged to longtime NHLer Kevin Dineen. Dineen, who played in 1,188 regular season games during his career, spent two seasons with the 'Canes. A Center Ice Authentic/Starter tag is in the neck and is joined by a sewn-in "54-R" size tag. The captain's "C" is sewn onto the upper chest. Screening on the inner rear hem reveals that the jersey was part of the team's "2nd Set". Game wear is quite evident and consists of a handful of black stick marks on the arms with a good number of material pulls. We spot more marks on the front with a stick scrape on the team crest. Significant interior pilling throughout and Dineen has signed inside on the fight strap.
