Awesome WHA Quebec Nordiques captain's jersey was worn by Michel Parizeau, one of only four players in the rebel league's 500-game club. Parizeau, an original Nordique who succeeded Jean-Guy Gendron as captain, wore this fantastic piece of team history in 1975-76, his last season in Quebec. The Nords crest, numbers, captain's "C" and fleurs-de-lis flowers are all sewn-on. "Parizeau" is screened onto the cloth nameplate. Dureen beauty has blue paint transfer and two team repairs on the front and a nice big slash mark on the left sleeve. There are small pinhead-size holes throughout, notably a dozen on each shoulder. No longer tagged in the neck, the sweater measures out to a size 46. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA. Included with this historic Nordiques captain’s jersey are Parizeau’s autographed 1974-75 OPC card and a 1975-76 Nordiques program with pictured on the cover, though not in the same jersey.
