Historical Hockey Memorabilia Spring 2012

This has got to be one of Mike Fisher’s most distinctive game-worn jerseys. An extremely shortlived product of the lockout that scuttled the 2004-05 NHL season and playoffs, the Original Stars Hockey League barely got underway before it suddenly folded. The six-team league was set up to allow the locked-out NHL players to compete in 4-on-4 hockey in various Canadian cities but only two games were played before financial difficulties ended the venture. This Fisher #12 OSHL blue gamer worn by the Ottawa Senators center has a Crossbar size XXL manufacturer’s flag tag in the back of the neck. “OSHL” on the front and numbers on the sleeve and back are red and white twill applied with heat-pressed adhesive, as are the nameplate with white twill surname letters. League logos are embroidered on both shoulders and RYR Hockey & Sports Wear is embroidered above the nameplate on the back of the neck. Crossbar label is sewn on the right rear tail. Really no discernible game wear to report on this gamer with obviously extremely light use. Comes with an Original Stars Hockey League LOA.
