Senators defenseman Jared Cowen wore this WHL All-Stars jersey during the 2009 Subway Super Series against Team Russia. Cowen, Ottawa’s top pick in the 2009 draft at ninth overall, during either the first or second period of Team WHL’s 2-1 win over the Russians in Victoria, B.C., on November 25, 2009 in Game 5 of the CHL’s six-game Super Series sweep, as per the LOA from the Canadian Hockey League that accompanies this game-worn jersey. Tie-neck gamer has Reebok CHL tagging in the neck and size 58 flag tag below it. Super Series ’09 patch is sewn on the right breast and the alternate captain’s A is on the left breast. CHL patches are sewn on both shoulders with a smaller CHL patch sewn on the rear tail. MeiGray game-worn program patch with registry number that corresponds to the one on the CHL LOA is sewn inside the rear tail. A faint mark on the bottom right of the A on the left breast is the best evidence of obviously very light game use.
