Defenseman Darren Rumble has signed his 1997 American Hockey League All-Star game-worn jersey. Philadelphia’s first-round pick in 1987, Rumble was back in the Flyers’ organization in 1996-97 enjoying a standout season with the AHL Philadelphia Phantoms. An inaugural member of the Senators in 1992-93, Rumble debuted with the Flyers in 1990-91 and also played for the St. Louis Blues and Tampa Bay Lightning during his 193-game NHL career. Darren placed a black marker autograph inside the rear hem behind the “AHL 1997 All-Star Classic, Harbour Station, Saint John” patch sewn on the left rear tail. Bauer logo is embroidered in blue thread on the right rear tail with a round AHL patch sewn-on beside it. “AHL” is sewn on the front in individual red and blue twill letters, as are the numbers on the back and both sleeves and the star on the right shoulder. The Maple Leaf on the left shoulder is screened on. A Chrysler sponsor’s patch is sewn on the right breast. Bauer Pro and size 56 flag tags remain in the neck and the fight strap is complete and intact. A couple of tiny spots of blue paint transfer on the back of the left sleeve are the best of obviously extremely light game wear. Comes with an American Hockey League LOA.
