Neatly done scrapbook features newspaper articles and photos covering the end of the 1944-45 NHL season, forever remembered as the year of the "Punch Line" - Maurice Richard, Toe Blake and Elmer Lach. This great Canadiens line would finish 1-2-3 in scoring, with Lach winning the Hart Trophy, and Richard scoring his iconic 50 goals in 50 games. Other highlights include Dit Clapper and Lester Patrick retiring, the Rocket scoring 4 goals in a semi-final game, Frank McCool has 3 straight shutouts in the final, and the Toronto Maple Leafs winning the Stanley Cup in Game 7. In solid Ex+ condition, with four pages of neatly written playoff stats, it also includes 6 full page features (folded) from Star Weekly, each focusing on different stars including Eddie Shore and Bill Cowley.
