Close to half a set of precious little '51-52 Parkies are up for grabs here, with mostly crease-free condition to tell you about and 18 examples examined and encapsulated by PSA. Not too strong on star power, but the slabbed group includes a NM 7 example of #81-Max Bentley, along with RCs of 14-Geoffrion (VG 3) and 56-Lindsay (EX 5). At NM-MT 8 is 41-Peters, with 85-Gardner and 90-Evans at NM 7 and 54-Pavelich an EX-MT+ 6.5. Nine EX-MT 6 cards are #s 36, 39, 42, 58, 59, 72, 78, 87 and 92, while completing are 79 at EX 5 and 74 at Good+ 2.5. Of the "raw" cards, we count 18 crease-free that mirror the graded group and likely in the PSA 5 to 7 range, with maybe a pleasant surprise or two. The aforementioned batch of 18 are 23-Henderson, 40-Bodnar, 43-Gee, 46-Fogolin, 51-Babando, 57-Skov, 60-Glover, 62-Stasiuk, 67-Goldham, 69-Reise, 77-Juzda, 82-Thompson, 83-Mackell, 88-Solinger, 91-Buller, 93-Raleigh, 95-Ronty and 96-Laprade, with 6-MacPherson and 65-Prystai similar but considerably narrower, suggesting trimming. In the VG neighborhood are 2-Meger, 79-Bolton, 100-Hergesheimer, 101-Kullman, 102-Slowinski and 104-Rayner, with 105-Conacher closer to G. Completing are fillers, with paper loss on the back, of 9-MacKay and 75-Broda. Swell collection offers several possibilities.
