Not one but amazingly two strips of mini cards from the early 1950s and still in plastic capsules are offered in this tantalizing lot, with each strip featuring 13 little cards each measuring 5/8" by 7/8" and accordion folded so as to be put in capsules and sold in bubble gum type vending machines. Oh, to go back in time! Including both past stars and then present day players, one strip stars Roy Worters, Babe Siebert, Howie Morenz and Gordie Drillon, while featured in the other are Bill Cook, King Clancy, Dick Irvin, Roy Conacher and Toe Blake. In difficult-to-hope-for-nicer condition, with the transparent capsule including a couple of cracks and the red and clear one not cracked. Please visit our website for the complete list of these fascinating little treasures. In order from left to right of one strip are cards of Pete Backor, Mac Colville, Rog Leger, Worters, Siebert, Morenz (pictured with the Rangers), Leo Reese, Billy Reay, Davie Kerr, Drillon, Joe Carveth, Frank Bull and Ken Mosdell. The other includes Cook, Harry Watson, Don Gallinger, Clancy, Irvin, Conacher, John Sorrell, Jim Thompson, Pat Lundy, Blake, Bill Beveridge, Johnny Chad and Billy Taylor. A little upper corner crease in each of the last three mentioned cards is to note, but whoa, what a find!
