This fascinating program is from Game 3 of the finals which saw the Rangers win their second Stanley Cup title. With all but the first game played at Maple Leaf Gardens because of the circus in New York, Toronto won its only game on this April 11th night, prevailing 3-2, but watched the Blueshirts accept the Cup after a 1-0 overtime win in Game 4. Cup-winning goal-scorer Bill Cook, along with brother "Bun" and Frank Boucher, signed in the top part of the white maple leaf on the cover here, with green ink also being used by fellow HOFers Babe Siebert, Earl Seibert and Ching Johnson in the middle. Completing the true team-signed piece are Murdoch, Heller, Keeling, Somers, Dillon, Brennan, Asmundson, Pettinger and goalie Aitkenhead, with trainer Westerby and even goal judge Dick Williams also signing. Poor condition program with detached tape-repaired cover, detached lineup page and some torn/taped pages is however complete and signed by the Stanley Cup champs!
