Oilers great Paul Coffey wielded this Sher-Wood 5030 game-used stick in 1981-82 when he had 29 goals and 60 assists. The 20-year-old defenseman's vintage dedicated ballpoint autograph sits on the side of the shaft of this gamer from his second NHL season. Paul's number 7 is stamped on the shaft along with his surname, which is misspelled "Coffee". A "19 Jan. 1982" factory date stamp sits on the back of the shaft. Paul's black tape knob over his shaved handle has had a few rows removed from the bottom. The blade with Paul's custom-cut toe retains his white tape job, which has worn through along the rough bottom edge. A crack low on the bottom edge of the front of the shaft does not diminish this signed Coffey sophomore gamer's display.
