In the hunt for added scoring power, the Edmonton Oilers picked up left winger Geoff Courtnall from the Bruins late in the 1987-88 season before making another run for the Cup. This wonderful white Nike mesh uniform, worn all the way into the Finals that year, sports Geoff's number "15" on the back and arms and features custom-shortened cuffs. Tagged in the neck by Nike in size XL with "87/88" marked inside in thick blue ink. The "Courtnall" name plate is not original. The jersey came from the team without a plate and was sold as a NOBR style. The current air-knit name bar was added at a later date for display purposes. Loads of game wear with numerous stick marks and no less than 14 team repairs on the arms with another large patch on the lower front. Photo-matched to distinctive marks on the right sleeve, the shirt will come with an autographed 8x10" photograph of Geoff hoisting the Cup that was used to make the match.
