Once handled by the greatest defenseman to play the game, this early-1970s Victoriaville Pro gamer dates back to the pinnacle of Bobby Orr's career. Orr's distinctive narrow black bulldog tape wrap remains towards the heel of the blade. "B Orr" is stamped on the front of the shaft below the distinctive ribbed-grip handle. A tell-tale feature on any Orr gamer, the tape job has darkened with age as the oils from the black bulldog tape have seeped through the white cloth tape outer wrap. One of the two celluloid accent stripes in Bruins colors remains partially intact on the shaft while the outline of the other has glue residue where they it once sat lower down. Solid, crack-free Orr gamer is a beauty with nice game wear along the bottom edge of the blade tape and black marks from game use at the heel.
