Raymond Bourque was an obvious selection to the North American squad for the 2000 NHL All-Star game held at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto and his experience earned him the captain's "C" that adorns the chest of this blue CCM-made size-56 uniform from the game. The shirt features four commemorative patches, including the Canadian flag, the 2000 AS patch, the NHL 2000 patch and the team logo of the Boston Bruins. "BOURQUE" runs across a plate above the number "77". A smaller number is sewn onto the front below the NHL shield. The tail has been embroidered with the CCM, NHL and NHLPA logos. Little to no game wear, as expected. An NHL inventory tag has been sewn into the fight strap and the jersey was obtained by our consignor directly from a member of the Bourque family. It will come with a detailed letter outlining the provenance.
