Historical Hockey Memorabilia Spring 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/12/2012
Historic uniform worn during the first ever game played by the American Hockey League's Toronto Marlboros. The home opener, played on October 12, 2005, pitted the Marlies against the visiting Syracuse Crunch and this wondrous white jersey was worn by goalie Jean-Sebastien Aubin (who would go on to see NHL action) in the inaugural foray. The billowing RBK-made affair is tagged in size 58 in the neck and sports the special Inaugural game patch on the chest above a smaller McDonald's crest. Game wear consists of at least a dozen scattered stick marks and a few pulls. Additional goodies will be included. Complete with team letter of authenticity. More items included in the lot are: a Magazine page of Aubin wearing this jersey as well as an inaugural game banner, line-up card, Inaugural Game tickets (2) and 2 pamphlets.
