Historical Hockey Memorabilia Spring 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/12/2012
All-Star defenseman Steve Duchesne is featured in this lot of four pieces of his Red Wings game-used equipment originally purchased from the official team store. "Duchesne" appears in white letters on the cuffs of Steve's autographed Easton game-worn gloves and Steve has signed in gold paint pen on the heels of both of his Bauer Supreme 5000 game-used skates. Also included are two of Steve's solid and crack-free two-piece Koho game-used sticks with Christian blade inserts and his original tape jobs. Hockeytown Authentics hologram stickers are affixed to the four items included in this lot. Steve has signed in black marker on the front padding of both of his Red Wings Easton game-used gloves, both of which exhibit really nice game wear, including on their hole-free palms.
Both of Duchesne’s game-worn skates have added padding inside the tongues and his number “28” written in black marker on the heels of the white plastic supports of the steel blades, which both have rusted edges.
Steve’s number “28” is also written in black marker at the bottom of his long white tape jobs on the knobs of both of his game-used sticks. The HA hologram is applied over the Christian logo on the front of each stick’s wood blade insert, both of which retain Steve’s black tape jobs.
