Fantastic Red Wings lot features a trio of game-used items worn by Martin Lapointe, always a hit at the Joe for his rugged leadership. Lapointe's 1999-2000 Red Wings game-worn jersey displays the NHL 2000 patch on the right breast and size 56 and CCM flag tags in the neck. This gorgeous home gamer with repaired/reinforced front and back collar seams is from the Red Wings' first season set as indicated on the team patch screened inside the rear hem. Fantastic game wear shows in the team repair on the front and numerous sewing fixes on the sleeves, as well as blue and red paint transfer on the left elbow and black marks on the front, right rear tail and both sleeves. Lapointe's late-1990s/early-2000s game-worn skates and gloves come with Hockeytown Authentics hologram stickers. The jersey’s fight strap is whole and complete, though the stitching at the top of the Velcro panel has let go adjacent to the top button rivet.
“Lapointe” is factory printed in white letters on the cuffs of both of his Bauer game-worn gloves. The HA hologram sticker is inside the cuff of the left glove, which has a hole worn through the palm. The right glove’s palm is hole-free and both gloves display extensive game wear in the form of scuffs and marks.
Lapointe’s Bauer Supreme Composite game-worn skates have loads of reinforced stitching on the sides of both boots. The right skate has a Hockeytown Authentics price tag on the outside right edge and a HA hologram sticker underneath the bottom of the boot. Glossy team repairs polished up the toes of both boots.
