Historical Hockey Memorabilia Spring 2012

A sure bet for the Hall of Fame, Chris Chelios took to the ice for the Red Wings early in the 2000-01 season wearing this white airknit Koho affair. The "2000-2001 Authentic Game Jersey 1st Set" team stamp is screened inside the rear tail. Chelios, who had two more Stanley Cups in his future with Detroit, was limited to 24 games, missing most of the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury in mid-November. Size 52 and CCM flag tags remain in the neck, the latter with a Hockeytown Authentics price tag attached to it by a plastic tie. Game wear shows in a 2-inch team repair on the right elbow, another sewing fix to the right of the numbers on the left sleeve, and black marks on both sleeves and the tails.
