Historical Hockey Memorabilia Spring 2012

This white Red Wings home jersey worn by HOF center Igor Larionov during the 1996 Stanley Cup playoffs helped baptize a fiery rivalry. Larionov, who contributed 6 goals and 7 assists in his Detroit playoff debut, helped the Wings open with series wins over Winnipeg and St. Louis before a 6-game loss in the conference final touched off a blood feud with the Colorado Avalanche. This awesome playoff gamer has both the "Authentic 1995-96 Detroit Red Wing Game Sweater" team stamp with the 70th anniversary logo as well as the "96 Playoffs" Stanley Cup stamp, each screened in red inside the rear tail. A Hockeytown Authentics hologram sticker is in the back of the neck along with CCM and size 52 flag tags. Really nice game wear is clear to see in black marks all over the front tail, both sleeves and the front of both shoulders, as well as the rear tail and the left side of the back. Board burns have left unrepaired holes on both elbows.
