With a Hart and two Selkes already in his trophy case, Sergei Fedorov got the ultimate prize in 1996-97 when the Red Wings won the first of back-to-back Stanley Cups. Fedorov's leadership role is clear from the alternate captain's A on this photo-matched Fedorov gamer from Detroit's second season set, as per the team stamp screened inside the hem. The cuffs have Fedorov's custom cuts and a 3-inch long team repair on the back of the left sleeve is among the great game use. The semi-circular black mark on the right side of the white band on the front tail provide the photo match along with the smaller one above it. Fedorov has signed "Sergei #91" in black marker above the Tackla patch sewn on the left front leg of his 1990s game-worn pants. The game-worn jersey’s Nike size 54 and NHL Center Ice labels remain in the back of the neck along with a “Made In Canada” flag tag. The fight strap is whole and complete. More game wear shows in black marks on the front, sleeves, and on the rear tail, and board burns on the back of both sleeves.
Fedorov’s game-worn pants have Tackla manufacturer’s patches sewn on the front of both legs and the old NHL shield on the back of the left leg. The interior padding remains intact and game wear shows in black marks throughout, particularly on the front of both scuffed legs.
