An outstanding opportunity for serious Steve Yzerman and Red Wings collectors is the long-time Detroit captain's 1993-94 game-worn jersey. Stevie Y still had three Stanley Cups in his future when he posted 82 points in an injury-shortened 58-game campaign, ending his run of 6 straight 100-point seasons. The East Side Team Sports label remains in the back of the neck, with size 50 (Yzerman's correct size) and CCM flag tags below it, and the fight strap is whole and complete. The "ES Authentic 1993-94 Detroit Red Wing Game Sweater" team stamp is screened in red inside the rear hem, which was custom-shortened for Yzerman as is clear to see by the sewn-over fold of red fabric inside the jersey. Nice game wear shows in black marks on the left front and back tail, and back of the right sleeve, which also displays a small unrepaired board burn hole on the elbow. There are also a couple of spots of blue paint transfer on the white band on the back of the left sleeve. A fabulous gamer worn by one of the greatest leaders in hockey history.
