One of the most important and coveted Parkhurst rookie cards of the 1950s pictures hockey giant Jean Beliveau and was issued the same season as the much-heralded star finally signed his contract with the Canadiens after postponing his NHL debut with two seasons of senior with the Quebec Aces. Beliveau was considered one of the best players on the planet at the time, with this Beliveau RC regarded as one of the best in the world too! Card #27 exhibits light edge/border toning and has been deemed worthy of NM-MT 8 status by PSA, with the company's pop numbers revealing just two 8.5s ahead of it. Of close to 200 Beliveau rookies to have been sent to PSA in the past, two dozen others have merited NM-MT 8 recognition. If you've yet to land an outstanding example, here is an excellent opportunity.
