A big-time example of big Al Rollins' rookie card here is second to none on the PSA charts, with its NM-MT 8 grade mirroring 14 others out of the 95 total submissions to the company. Picked by Conn Smythe to replace an aging Turk Broda, the 6'2" Rollins had quite a start, leading the NHL in wins and capturing the Vezina Trophy as a rookie in 1950-51, capping the dream season with a Stanley Cup championship. Later traded to Chicago, Rollins was so good on a horrible team that he won the Hart Trophy in '53-54 as league MVP despite a 12-47-7 record! Intriguing stats to contemplate while contemplating this gorgeous card!
