Historical Hockey Memorabilia Spring 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/12/2012
The first card numbered in Parkhurst's landmark first hockey card set and almost in first place as the highest ever graded by PSA is this outstanding example of the rookie card of Elmer Lach, an outstanding playmaker during his Hall of Fame career. PSA's career has seen the company examine and slab some 127 Lach RCs, just one MINT 9 bettering this exceptional NM-MT 8 treasure. It is joined by 13 other 8s on the PSA Population Report. Lach meanwhile joined the Canadiens in 1940-41 and was the NHL's all-time points leader when he retired 14 years later, winning two scoring titles while averaging close to a point a game. Superb card will help increase your average, that is, your GPA!
